I entered the NUPOC program in 2015 with about two years left in college. With that I was getting paid as an E-6 in addition to the tax-free allowances that come with being in the military. Not to mention healthcare and the ability to start stacking up time in service. Time in service allows you to retire earlier and get paid more during your career.
