Use Your Bitcoin Lightning Network Node As A Wallet… SAFELY!

If we really want Bitcoin Lightning Network to grow in adoption, we need to actually USE it in the real world... right? But up until now, that has meant using a custodial lightning network wallet, OR, if you run your own Bitcoin node via Umbrel, RaspiBlitz, etc, and risking your ENTIRE lightning network balance by accessing the FULL node over Tor... ...But not anymore! In this video, I'm going to show you a simple method for creating a limited-permissions, limited-funds lightning network wallet that custodies funds on your own Bitcoin lightning network node, and how you can connect to it from anywhere. You can use this method to create a lightning network wallet for friends and family, too. Best of all, it's completely safe, because your funds are on YOUR OWN Bitcoin node... but accessed via your iPhone or Android (or any other device). This method will work with Umbrel, RaspiBlitz, Citadel, MyNode, or anything else that allows you to install LNBits.
