In this demo, I use Codex to go from a rough app idea to visual mockups, then turn one of those directions into a working prototype.
The example is a lightweight team feedback app called Team Signals. I start by asking Codex to generate multiple UI directions, choose one, and then have Codex implement a local prototype that I can review in the in-app browser.
The workflow:
1. Start with a rough idea
2. Generate visual design options
3. Pick a direction
4. Build a working prototype
5. Iterate in the browser
The point is not that the first version is perfect. It’s that Codex can help make an abstract idea concrete enough for stakeholders, PMs, designers, engineers, and customers to react to.
