This video shows the use of the digicamcontrol software with a DSLR (Nikon D70s). The video covers how to set up the software to automatically save each taken photo with the image file name including the Session name (typically Client Name), along with date and time. Also covered is how to brighten or darken the iris photo using Exposure Compensation with the flash in TTL (Through-the Lens) metering mode. TTL allows for autoexposure, but the cameras estimated exposure can be adjuisted for more or less brightness in this mode, so the blue iris can be photographed with EC=+1.0 or +2.0, and the brown iris photo is taken with EC=+3.0, +4.0, or +5.0. The software is a free download from www.digicamcontrol.com and works with most cameras (current version is 2.1.2.0). For more info on iris cameras, see www.milesresearch.com .
