You can set the timer relay delay to whatever you like. This is a great way to automate a linear actuator. Note that this timer only works on it's own and does not sync with a clock. This means that you can set it to open an actuator for a certain length of time and then close it. You can not set it to open at 8:15pm exactly though. You can get that functionality by using an Arduino board.
