📌OBJECTIVE OF THE WEBINAR The training guided participants on how to use microeco package to carry out downstream analysis of 16S rRNA bacterial data. The session provided hands-on experience and practical strategies for handling, analyzing, and visualizing microbial community data with reproducible R workflows. 📌WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAINED • Understanding the Workflow of Microbiome Data Analysis • Getting Started with the microeco Package • Cleaning, Normalizing, and Visualizing Data in R • Analyzing Microbial Diversity and Community Structure (PCA, PCoA, NMDS), and interpret ecological relationships in your data. •Visualizing taxonomic composition using bar plots and heatmaps, and conduct differential abundance tests such as LEfSe or Wilcoxon to detect meaningful 📌PEOPLE THAT JOINED All researchers and professionals interested in this thematic area. 📌FACILITATOR Dr. Abdulmumin Baba Amin Senior Lecturer Department of Animal Science, Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State, Nigeria TOOLS NEEDED to accompany R packages 1. microeco 2. ggplot2 3. ggdendro 4. ggtree 5. RColorBrewer 6. pheatmap
