Using Reason Drums in Cubase
If you have been using and of the latest versions of Reason or Reason+ (Reason Plus) you know that you can use the Reason Rack as a VST - but how do you separate your drums to their own tracks to get your best mix? Watch this video to see how - it is a bit tricky but this video will help you get your drums out of the Reason Rack and make them first class citizens of your Cubase Project! You'll learn how to: * Separate each drum from your complex midi pattern * Make your drums show up on the Cubase Mixer so you can automate them * Flatten out your drums to Audio so you can do tricks like pre-verb and other audio reverse tasks (chops whatever you could do with audio). Thanks to #G.O.W.Music for suggesting this video - getting this work in Cubase was definitely a challenge and I can see why this tutorial is needed!
