Using Steam VR inside a Meta Quest 3 via USB Cable

This video shows how to access Steam VR games from within a Meta Quest 3 headset which is connected to the host computer via a USB cable but can also be used with Air Link. Install Oculus software from https://www.meta.com/gb/quest/setup/ and setup your Quest 3 headset as a new device. Install Steam and Steam VR and any games you want to play in VR. https://store.steampowered.com/ Launch Oculus software on your computer and connect your Quest 3 headset using a cable. In the Quest 3 headset go to Settings, then System, then Quest Link and select Launch Quest Link. If you want to connect via Air Link toggle the setting or select the available PC and press Launch. The Oculus software will load. Go to the Desktop icon and select your monitor to enable you to launch Steam. Open the Steam App then launch Steam VR. This will open the Steam VR software enabling you to access your Steam games. In this video, I also had the Liv Streamer app running which gives you a Twitch or Youtube chat overlay. https://www.liv.tv/ To exit you need to disable Quest Link and this will return you to the Quest 3 operating system.
