I've been using the Lamy Studio fountain pen, and the jury is still out.
The Lamy Studio has a lot going for it. Clean design, reliable nib, comfortable length for longer writing sessions. But I'm finding the grip section a bit slippery, which affects the overall experience. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's noticeable enough that the pen hasn't found a permanent spot in my rotation yet.
In this video, I'll walk through what works and what doesn't with the Lamy Studio. The nib performance, the build quality, the grip issue, and where it might fit in my daily practice once I figure out the right use case for it. I'll also talk about what ink I've been running through it and how it compares to other pens in my collection.
I'll keep you updated in my monthly updates once I've spent more time with it and figured out if it stays or goes. For now, it's a pen with potential that needs the right job.
