Using Windows 98 for One Week
I have decided to challenge myself on using Windows 98 for one week. It was interesting to see how much has changed since. The machine I used was a Dell Dimension 3000 tower. I have used this machine during childhood, albeit not the same machine I used for this video. This machine is capable of running older versions of Windows, while my Vostro machine lacks the capabilities of. Although modern software don't run well with Windows 98, some patches can be used to make some modern apps install and run. However, no browsers (that I know of) is capable of HTML5 video, which YouTube heavily needs, as Adobe Flash is no longer an option. (I'm happy to see that flash is going away in late 2020). This video took awhile to edit as I am notorious of adding details for my videos rather than pasting all clips in and call it a day. I want to show people the details. The longest video yet. i guess. Mentioned earlier, I have lots of unused clips, most of them are failures or stuff that didn't go according to plan. Until then, I am thinking on how I would show these clips.
