Some examples of CSS syntax that are valid acccording to the CSS specifications, but due to either language design choices, or Sass being parsed differently than the syntax described in the CSS specifications these examples fall in the area of conflict where SCSS and CSS syntax are incompatible.
Though these reduced test examples look be unusual, places where syntax like this might be used wouldn't look as awkward or as weird as these test examples.
