In this video, we demonstrate the power of the Valk Welding ARP software when combined with an industrial Panasonic welding robot. Automatic Robot Programming (ARP) merges the ease of programming a cobot with the durability, accuracy, and repeatability of industrial welding robots. With ARP, anyone can program a real welding robot, even without prior experience. The ARP software automatically analyzes 3D CAD/STEP files, identifies welds, and recommends welding positions and sequences. It is user-friendly and requires minimal programming knowledge. Additionally, many time-consuming tasks are automated, including the selection of weld seams, the determination of optimal weld sequences to prevent product deformation, and the configuration of robot positions to avoid collisions. Operators can program up to several thousand points in a single day with ARP, a task that would take an experienced programmer up to nine times as long, even with a cobot.
