Not "how do we measure success" — that's downstream.
What does the creation of value itself look like, defined as something measurable, accountable, and AI-native?
For most teams, the honest answer is: we don't know — but we measure leads and MQLs and conversion rates because that's what the platform tracks.
Those metrics measure an industrial-age sales motion. They don't measure value creation. They measure activity inside a funnel that doesn't exist in an AI-native organization.
Which means before you can have Value-First Data, you need a definition of value creation that doesn't inherit the assumptions of the old model.
