I needed to snake out our bathtub drain. But the drill runs too fast and is hard to keep at a steady lower speed by hand. So what to do? This hack will turn your standard corded variable speed drill into a version that can be run at a constant lower speed. You will need another drill to make this happen. Make sure the trigger button is plastic and then using a small bit, drill a few holes in the trigger at varying depths. Stick a cotter pin in the hole you want to vary the speed with and you will be able to maintain a slower constant speed that is best for your project! I hope this helps and I hope you learned something! Have a Handy Week! Check Out My Website: http://bit.ly/1nQORu6 Subscribe to Rick's Tips Channel for Home Improvement and DIY Tips!
