Variational quantum algorithms are one of the most important classes of quantum algorithms for noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) devices. In this talk, Kanav Setia will provide an overview of what these algorithms are with a specific use case from chemistry and possibly another domain, such as optimization/machine learning. He will provide a brief theoretical overview, followed by a working example that attendees can work with in real time.
Kanav Setia is the CEO of qBraid. He's an equal superposition of physicist and engineer.
