I made a deep vase using segmented ring turning method. I originally planned making this from exotic woods, the $120 + cost was eye watering to say the least. So, I figured to do a 'test run' of this project from readily available pine from my local big box. I knew the end product would be dull so I planned from the start to use analine dyes for some coloring. The result was very good. I made a dry flower vase that my wife wants to use in her spare room.
