VCC Fund a Need 2026

In 2027, VCC is set to open its new Centre for Clean Energy and Automotive Innovation (CCEAI) on its Broadway campus. It is designed to be a hub of research and innovation that will train B.C.’s workforce of tomorrow in clean energy and advanced transportation fields. In 2026, fund-a-need proceeds will support the purchase of a Chassis Dynamometer for VCC’s automotive department for the new CCEAI building. This equipment will provide students with hands-on experience in using industry-standard tools, and it also works with electric vehicles. Donors investing in this equipment are helping VCC lead the way in training the next generation of skilled technicians who will power our province’s clean energy economy. This equipment will also be available for applied research, meaning local small businesses can partner with VCC to test their vehicles and fleets without buying a chassis dynamometer themselves. vcc.ca/give
