וְאָהַבְתָּ אֵת יְיָ אֱלֹהֶיךָ, בְּכָל-לְבָֽבְךָ, וּבְכָל-נַפְשְׁךָ, וּבְכָל-מְאֹדֶֽךָ. וְהָיוּ הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה, אֲשֶׁר אָֽנֹכִי מְצַוְּךָ הַיּוֹם, עַל-לְבָבֶֽךָ: וְשִׁנַּנְתָּם לְבָנֶיךָ, וְדִבַּרְתָּ בָּם בְּשִׁבְתְּךָ בְּבֵיתֶךָ, וּבְלֶכְתְּךָ בַדֶּרֶךְ וּֽבְשָׁכְבְּךָ, וּבְקוּמֶֽךָ. וּקְשַׁרְתָּם לְאוֹת עַל-יָדֶךָ, וְהָיוּ לְטֹטָפֹת בֵּין עֵינֶֽיךָ, וּכְתַבְתָּם עַל מְזֻזֹת בֵּיתֶךָ וּבִשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ: Transliteration: Ve-Aa-hav-ta Et A-do-nai El-o-hey-cha, be-chol le-vav-cha Uve-chol Naf-she-cha Uve-chol Me-o-de-cha Ve-ha-yu had-va-reem Ha-e-leh A-sher A-no-chee Me-tzave-cha Ha-yom Al Le-va-ve-cha. Ve-shee-nan-tam Le-va-ne-cha Ve-dee-bar-ta ba-am Be-sheev-te-cha Be-vei-te-cha Uv-lech-te-cha Va-de-rech Uv-shoch-be-cha Uv-ku-me-cha. Uk-shar-tam Le-ot Al Ya-de-cha Ve-ha-yu Le-to-ta-fot Bein EY-ne-cha. Uch-tav-tam Al Me-zu-zot BeY-te-cha U-veesh-a-re-cha. Translation: You shall love Adonai your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your might. Take to heart these instructions, which I charge you this day. Impress them upon your children. Recite them when you stay at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you get up.
