This is the second part in a series of videos walking through my summer project, a mosaic of the Veil Nebula. Through these videos, I'll be going through each of the steps I took from planning and acquisition, pre-processing, mosaic combination and post processing the final image.
Part 2 - Testing. Once planning is complete, I run a day or so of the plan and bring in the first images to confirm everything will be able to form my mosaic properly. I'll talk through calibration of images, rough aligning, and even forming the mosaic with a few subframes to make sure everything is solid.
