This is the fourth and final part in a series of videos walking through my summer project, a mosaic of the Veil Nebula. Through these videos, I'll be going through each of the steps I took from planning and acquisition, pre-processing, mosaic combination and post processing the final image.
Part 3 – Post processing the final image. With a finished set of mosaic channels (Ha and Oiii), it’s time to combine them into a final image. I’ll talk through the things I did to take the blank and white mosaic channels and turn them into a lovely, but huge finished color project, including true color stars!
