As part of our Horses in Harness event, this weekend we recreated a photo of the visiting Venture Coach at Shotley Bridge.
This coach, originally owned by Lewis Priestman, was once a regular sight on the road from his home in Shotley Bridge to Edmundbyers, and ran three days a week through the season from 1922 until the advent of the Second World War.
