In this video, we do two examples of word problems that can be solved by using vertex form of a quadratic. Both problems involve an application situation where an object is launched into the air. In the first example, you are given points (like the vertex) and are asked to write the equation in vertex form. In the second example, you are given an equation in standard form and you have to rewrite it in vertex form to find the vertex.
