This color change is angle sensitive like any color change, but can be performed for a live audience when practiced well. So, grab a deck and follow along. Hold the deck face up in dealer's grip in your left hand. Then, with your right hand, take the deck with your middle, ring and pinky finger curled deep under the deck by the front small edge, the index finger curled above the deck and the thumb at the back small edge of the deck. Then, with your ring finger and pinky finger, pull away the bottom card from the deck until it is parallel with the floor. Then, take away the deck with the left hand face up while adjusting the card into lateral or tenkai palm. To make the change, bring the card towards the deck as if waving to affect the change.
