Ammonium Dichromate decomposes to form green chromium (III) oxide, nitrogen and water vapor. It is a spectacular volcano-like reaction. All you need to do to start the reaction is heat the salt a little. Wear gloves while handling it, as ammonium dichromate is toxic. Enjoy!
