This update took a lot longer than anticipated because I was subject to a serious health issue recently. Some of you already know this, but I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which meant I had to undergo a series of medical evaluations and a major surgery. Fortunately, the tumor was discovered early, so I am cured now. One of the primary criticisms of the game we've received over the years is that the game's story is too simple and doesn't have enough depth. While I agree, I wanted to focus on the gameplay first and foremost, which is why we've never really prioritized the story... until now.
