We solve the wave equation on a disk by method of separation of variables. We find the eigenfunctions, eigenvalues of the Laplacian (also by separation on variables) use the eigenfunctions to build the solution. Finding the eigenfunctions, eigenvalues requires us to introduce Bessel's equations and their solutions.
