Note: At the 3:00 minute mark I cut across the end moving the X-Axis which can be problematic if your part surfaces are not parallel and perpendicular. A safer approach for a new machinist would be to cut the ends by moving the Y-Axis. Of course, this would require that you reestablish the bevel size leaving room for error. Also, I should have put on a FR jacket when performing the cutting demonstration. If you choose to use a cutting torch without proper PPE, don't be surprised if you get burnt.
