view my unviewable map TAS replay of this run on a brightened version: https://youtu.be/QIMTvNolczs died 4 times to final: one backtracking (silly), 3 to The Spike (more were expected tbh) one of the most unique goldens i've ever done. it would be better if it wasn't so backloaded, but it was still very fun. speedtech goldens are inherently heavily replayable because you can optimize by clearing rooms in less attempts. this helps it stay enjoyable despite like half of the golden's difficulty being concentrated in this one fuckass spike in final that's extremely dieable. i may elaborate on this more in a future description, as it's a common theme among the speedtech goldens that i've done. i didn't cut this one like i normally do with my speedtech goldens for a few reasons: for one, the run is only 10 minutes long and not One Fucking Hour like mg+. the map music also perfectly lines up with that run time (there's a fade-out when you beat the final room normally, and for my run i reached that fadeout during the silence after the song ends, but before it starts playing again). also, vibes. an uncut run makes sense for view. - questions i feel like i might get: q. what can you see? a. i can see a small field around the dash crystals, the white hair flash when madeline dashes or gets her dash back, and the white jump/landing particles (i know that a lot of monitors can't see the dash flash or jump particles, though). very early on, i can also see madeline's blue hair even when not in a dashing state, but the rooms get progressively darker and i can't see it anymore after just a couple. no tiles are ever visible unless they're illuminated by a crystal. the final upright of each gap is completely blind since there are no particles to see after the final jump, but it's surprisingly easy to get the timing down on them. q. do skinmods affect visibility? a. yes, i turned them off because the cateline tail flashes in the same way that the hair does, which would make it slightly easier to track madeline. different hair colors can also be much easier to see, to the point where they are as visible as the dash flash. purple (my 1dash color) is not one of them, but i disabled hyperline anyway. flower crown too for good measure so it'd be fully vanilla. q. why no golden? a. the golden gives off hella light q. are you using gamma? a. no, and fuck you if you do - this was released for day 14 of MMM: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLN1sfa26JDZaYJBaSr4Bd4-z70yRadqrF i cut out the intro and changed the thumbnail from the MMM formatted one. here's the original video with the intro, and the thumbnail linked in the description: https://youtu.be/w7K20FALXng raw: https://youtu.be/MDcmLIlRDO8 difficulty opinions: t10 idk. super hard to rate, but around nmauvefcg or amoebag seems reasonable. could be t9 but it's definitely not t8 clear: 3:29:23 // 5281 // 11-23-24 golden: 14:02:12 // 15978 // 3-20-25 Δ: +10:32:49 // +10697 mod: https://gamebanana.com/mods/538893 sheet: https://tinyurl.com/hyperceleste my goldberries: https://goldberries.net/player/749/top-golden-list this is a hard list map: https://tinyurl.com/celestehardlist "in for it" and "ur done" are the only two rooms that took more than 2 attempts to pass, so i've included chapters to skip past the fails for them: 0:00 start 2:16 in for it entry 5:12 in for it pass 6:05 ur done entry 10:22 ur done pass 11:09 journal
