Viewer Request: Square One 3x3x2 tutorial
Continuing with viewer requests, we have another popular one, the 3x3x2 super square one. Well, this is actually of the same form as the regular square one, just presented differently. So in an attempt to clarify the strategy, I go through all algorithms, including the 3x3x2 domino ones that you'll need. Use this to help you with the square one, square two, super square one (the 3x3x4 version) and the upcoming 2x2x2 square one cross cube! Corner switching algorithm: Prime U, 2R U 2R Ui 2R (Ui, D) 2R Ui 2R U 2R, unprime U Front to back edge switch: Prime D , 2R, unprime D, Prime U, 2R, unprime U Front U to Front D edge and Right U to Left D switch: Prime D, 2R, Di, 2R unprime D Prime U, 2R, 2U, 2R, unprime U Prime D, 2R, D, 2R, unprime D Prime U, 2R, 2U, 2R, unprime U Middle swap algorithm which swaps top right with top back and bottom back with bottom left: Prime D, 2R, Di, 2R unprime D Prime U, 2R, D, 2R, unprime U Prime D, 2R, unprime D, prime U, 2R, unprime U (this part is just the front to back middle switch) Parity picture procedure: 2R, Shields, rotate top shield counterclockwise on its side, same on bottom 2R, Butterflies, rotate top counterclockwise by 30 degrees and position bottom so both butterflies are flying toward your right side. 2R, 4 corner and 4 edge shield, Rotate top and bottom counterclockwise to rest on its side where the corner and edge meet, 2R, Flower on top, lemon on bottom, Rotate flower counterclockwise 30 degrees or by one petal. 2R, back to 4 corner and 4 edge shield, Bring both to face each other (edges) 2R, Butterflies, Both butterflies rotate counterclockwise to make... 2R, Shields, get back to cube form the same as before This part will be easier to understand if you follow along with the video!
