This is a complete restoration, with a new box, of the mechanical nixie clock (1960?) of Peter Seymour.
Capacitors, rectifier, resistors and two original big GN-1 tubes (1959-1962) which were complitely darkened, and luckly found on Ebay, had to be replaced.
In addition 2 smaller GN-4 tubes were placed to show the seconds: these are drived by two added
rotary stepping switches through the impulses of a graduated disc applied to the original main motor, which scans the minutes (1 minute per lap). Accuracy is still pretty good.
Since the second's stepping could be very annoyng this can be muted from a switch: in this case the bottom digits could show the day number of week / month.
