Bunker Punks [2018]
Debut platter from Raleigh, NC's VITTNA and only the 2nd release on a new label I'm excited about, the humbly and aptly dubbed Bunker Punks. NC hardcore punk has been nothing but underrated these days but I'm always excited to see some new releases from the various unsung (and honestly crazy) scenes that make up the area, especially Greensboro and Raleigh as of late.
This 7" is a really great mix of cold as fuck death rock and dissonant hardcore punk influences. Probably a choice pick for fans of early Die Kreuzen, Mecht Mensch, or the Scam. Definitely a great way to close out the year.
