Vizrt 4 Fonts Special tutorial
How to use the Vizrt 4 Fonts Special tab. You may need to constrain a series of words or a summary of text. Using the Special tab, you can do just that. Whenever you drag a font into the scene tree or scene tree editor and you go into your font editor, there is always a drop down labeled Special. The Special tab will help you constrain text in your scene. When you set up a scene, it's best to turn on your bounding box button in the scene editor window. Then go into the font editor window, into the Special tab. Go to the Text Box area and turn Active on. You should now see an orange box around your font in the scene editor window. This orange box is the text box that we are going to set margins. Using the Width and Height sections we can enter a number numerically or scrub the number to set the size of the box. Once you start typing text into the text editor and you reach the right edge of that orange box, your text will wrap to the next line. You can have it wrap on a space or not on a space. There are other options within the Vizrt 4 Font Special Tab as the video shows you. Using this function is useful if you’re setting up a scene where an operator types in text and you need it to automatically wrap or cut-off after a certain amount of text is entered. This is going to be useful if you're setting up a template where an operator needs put text in place. This can limit the amount of text they can enter but will keep them within design guidelines and/or within title safe area.
