In the previous video we have have already discussed about the "History and Evolution" of the Verification. In this video we have differentiated various types of Verification like Function Verification, Physical Verification and Post Silicon Verification which is also called post silicon Validation. In functional verification, there can be several types of approaches like Simulation based Design Verification, FPGA based emulation and Formal Verification. Then we discussed the Functional Verification in detail with a typical VMM methodology using a layered testbench approach. We have also discussed "Code Coverage" and "Functional Coverage". After that we discussed the job profile of a Verification Engineer and then we have seen how to prepare for Verification Engineering. Then we listed down few companies one can apply for verification profile. We also discussed the salary offered to freshers by MNCs and startup companies. At last I have provided the name of few Gurus one should follow to become a successful Verification Engineer.
