VOCAL ANALYSIS: ERIC MARTIN

This is my new vocal analysis of Mr Big singer, Eric Martin. I've been a big fan of his voice for several decades now so really enjoyed having a stab at a voice which has such character, tone and delivery :-D The song i've chosen is one of their biggest hits, To Be With You. Disclaimer: The aim of these videos is to show you how I try to mimic the tone and style of various singers. Singing in a style that isn't natural to your voice and using certain compressions styles can damage the voice if used long term. I use these sounds and techniques for certain studio performances and for clients who wish to have a certain style and sound on their recordings. The same as voice actors may push their voices in a studio session, I may use these styles in the same manner. If any singing style or technique you try hurts, I do not recommend using it long term.
