VOID ENERGY

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been working on a small audiovisual experiment called *Void Energy*. It started with a lyric and a mood: a late-night feeling of exhaustion dissolving into something slower, more cosmic, and more intimate. The first phase was a dialogue with ChatGPT about lyrics, feeling, genre, and atmosphere. From there, the piece moved into Suno, where I created several musical attempts and searched for the right emotional direction. The final version became a duet between my own voice and Souphie, a voice I had created earlier. All the music was created in Suno, then shaped through these voice experiments into the final piece. The visuals became an emotional field around the song: star trails, spirals, mist, flashes, parallel lines, a newborn galaxy, and a central void where the sound seems to fold inward. We built a small offline React and Three.js music-video tool with help from Codex, refining it through many rounds of visual and musical feedback. The tool now contains two visual modes: a spiral mode with intersecting lines and music-note sparks, and a galaxy mode with mist-like arms, dusty particles, beat glimmers, and slow drifting motion. Near the end of the piece, a faint red heart forms in the void, followed by closing text and a soft fade. Several AI systems were part of the process, not as replacements for artistic direction, but as instruments in a larger creative workflow. For me, *Void Energy* became less about making a conventional music video and more about exploring how sound, voice, image, and code can become one shared space.
