Volca Sample Tutorial - Part 6: Sample Uploading
Table of Contents 00:00 Intro 01:06 Caustic Editor for the Volca Sample 02:08 Connect with Volca (website) 03:55 Technical Aspects 06:53 Volca Sample Tutorial Series Finale This is the sixth and last episode of my Volca Sample Tutorial Series. This episode is quite different from the other five both in form and function. There are a lot of different programs for uploading samples to the Volca Sample, so I rather do a small overview of the two I use: CEVS (http://www.singlecellsoftware.com/cevs) and the fantastic website Connect with Volca (http://appstore.outsystemscloud.com/ConnectWithVolca). I also show the spectrogram of a typical upload message and discuss typical problems that occur during sample uploading. This was also my first attempt at doing some voice narration. Although I did several takes and used the de-esser and eq to the best of my ability, this is still new territory for me, and I would definitively need to practise both my speech and my audio recording abilities. Anyhow, I kept the text overlay with the highlights, which should compensate for any mistake of mine, and also aid in navigating though the video.
