This video was inspired by u/SCORP10NS on Reddit. He was looking for a way to compare the contents of containers to see which had the most items - as a way of counting votes. It was to be 1-wide tileable, use droppers as the containers, and be able to output a redstone signal from the "winner" of the ballot. Just using comparators would be a bit tricky for this, as it would be hard to make 1-wide and you'd have to use non-stackable items for your "votes". So I came up with an alternate counting method where I detect which dropper is last to hold any items as I empty them all out. I can see loads of uses for the system beyond a vote counter for a balloting system. Anywhere that you want to count a number of items could use a system like this. As a voting system you could extend it with a voting booth and send an item, such as different coloured wool which represents what you're voting for, from each user to a sorting system which feeds each dropper. I'm really interested for a Java player to let me know if it can be made faster in Java, as I suggest in the video. Let me know in the comments. Please leave a like and consider subscribing. I'm just a small YouTuber trying to create quality content and it helps others to find me content if you "Like" it.
