VTS™ (Vulcan Tactile System) performs grinding on an engine block utilizing the system's "Quick Plane" motion function, which prevents over-grinding. The VTS™ hand control system allows the operator to "feel" the work with the use of Force Feedback and sensors. Castings are positioned on a 4-meter-diameter turntable capable of holding up to 10 tons of castings.
