How to check and set the timing on your aircooled VW. If you've installed a new distributor, built a new engine or you feel like it isn't running quite right you'll need to run through this procedure.
I recently installed a new pertronix flamethrower distributor so the engine had to be re-timed, the standard timing for these distributors is 32 degrees before tdc @ 3000 RPM.
