Welcome to Week 2 Tutorial 9 of the course "Mathematics for Data Science I" by Profs. Neelesh Upadhye, Madhavan Mukund. Full Course: https://study.iitm.ac.in/ds/course_pages/BSMA1001.html Video Overview In this tutorial we solve a motion problem involving two colleagues, Ramesh and Suresh, and their commute to the office. By analyzing their travel paths on a distance time graph, we identify who corresponds to which line based on staggered start times and equal initial speeds. The problem also introduces a change in speed, and we calculate their final positions accordingly. This session highlights how graphs and basic kinematics concepts help solve real world motion problems.
