We review the basics of game theory and distinguish between non-cooperative and cooperative approaches. Key concepts such as the set of players, characteristic functions, power sets, marginal contributions, and the core are explained in detail. Through practical examples, we explore how coalitions create value, how bargaining power is determined, and how to ensure allocations are stable, efficient, and individually rational.
