Wadden Night Challenge

François D’Haene and 14 local athletes from The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg were the first to try the Wadden Night Challenge. Running 30 kilometers on water, starting at sunset, from mainland Netherlands to the Wadden Island of Schiermonnikoog. There is only a small window of opportunity, a few times each year: when the tide, the weather, the position of the moon and the currents of the sea are just right.
