Waiting For The Moon

One of the great things about having a band like this. I was rummaging through some boxes and found a song I had completely forgotten about. I wrote it way back in 1989. Right before Cathilea and I got married. So the song has multiple meaning. We were recording our second album at Moon Recording Studio. I wrote this waiting for the engineer David Houston to finish setting up for us. But also Cathilea and my first date was the movie Moonstruck. So that's always been a special movie for us. And we were looking forward to getting married. So I found this chart yesterday and had the guys play it today. Joe Gilman played the original version way back in '89 at On Broadway. I think we only played it 4 times ever. Never had been recorded. Jacam Manricks on tenor, Ben Kopf and Cameron Womack. Thanks guys!
