This short film offers a portrait of Japan during the Second World War, as well as the Japanese-Canadians residing within Canada, who were loyal to democracy. The government of Japan sought to unite a "greater Asia" through sophisticated wartime industrialization aided by Nazi engineers, and a naval threat across the Bering Strait is explored with typical wartime propaganda fervour.
