We are on a shorter walk today, and a beautiful one too, starting and finishing in the ancient Saxon walled town of Wareham (a derivative of 'Weir Town'). Our walk takes in the town walls and its two rivers, the Piddle and the Frome, and its jewel in its crown, St Martin's on the Walls, the most complete Saxon church in Dorset and one of the most complete in the UK. And we finish on its iconic quay, once a busy trading place for vessels arriving at Poole Harbour. Hope you enjoy!
