DeLorean warm up regulator testing
1. The heater ground circuit was repaired before this video. Function of the heater is to quicken the “Warm-up” phase of the regulator that happens naturally through regulator heat absorption
2. Our car was un drivable for the first few minutes of engine operation. The real problem was traced back to a defective coolant vacuum switch that prohibited acceleration enrichment.
3. The control pressure can be adjusted by knocking out a plug from inside of the warm-up regulator however removing the plug may result in a torn diaphragm and or parts flying everywhere. TEST BEFORE DISASSEMBLING as this part is expensive to replace if damaged. @ Passion Performance Auto
