This video should help someone in the beginning stages of adding a bathroom to a home. These are the basics to help the project start off on a good step. This is not comprehensive but give you a good place to start thinking if you are tossing the idea of adding a bathroom around. . Make sure you have enough space for the layout you want and make sure the layout you want will meet code. Make sure you can get to and fit the PVC drains for the toilet, sink and shower. Make sure you can get the supply water to the new bathroom easily. Make sure you can add another electrical circuit that can be dedicated to the new bathroom.
