Throughout the year, our water quality crew takes out a boat to various sections of lakes that we manage, and collects water samples (for chemical analysis), measures water clarity (with a Secchi disk) & test conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen and temperature levels (with a Multiparameter Sonde). We use this data to assess the progress towards our water quality goals, and to adjust programs as needed to make best use of our watershed management resources.
