I have painted the beach tons of times and never thought to paint a lighthouse. Then one of my patrons suggested it and I was like duh! So I played around with this a bunch to try to come up with a fun and easy way to do it, and filled a sketchbook spread with different ideas until I landed on what I liked, and I think it turned out really beautiful! If you're not into lighthouses, you could totally just do this as a beach scene!
