Waterproof A Shower Pan

In this video I go over step by step how to waterproof a custom foam shower pan and tie the waterproofing into the walls using a water proof sheet membrane that is installed with thinset. For this particular video we are using a newer method of waterproofing over a foam shower pan and a bonding flange drain. This is called a water in/water out system as opposed to the traditional three piece clamping ring with a vinyl liner. This way of waterproofing your shower pan can save you time and has fewer steps which eliminates the possibility of installation error.
